SKIPPYJON JONES COME TO NESS CITY!
Ness City Public Library is pleased to bring Skippyjon Jones and friends to Ness City on Tuesday, June 30 at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church (downstairs –please use south door). This program is free to all NCPL Summer Readers! Please call the library to reserve your seat prior to the program.
Popular author Judy Schachner’s character, Skippyjon Jones, is a Siamese kitten boy who can’t resign himself to being an ordinary cat. When sent to his room for time-out, he resorts to his imagination and takes on the superhero persona of the great Spanish sword fighter, El Skippito. Being a Chihuahua is much more exciting than being a cat!
Skippyjon with the help of Heather Augustine and Sara McFarland will entertain us for approximately 45 minutes as they encourage kids to “Get Creative @ Your Library!” And, as El Skippito (Skippyjon) would say, “ay caramba, mucho fun!”
