I Love Kansas Story Time
“I Love Kansas” Story Time has begun! This week we learned about our Kansas State Flower – the Sunflower! As you can see we had fun making our own sunflowers, as the real ones won’t be around until this summer!
We read the book, ”Sunflower House,” by Eve Bunting and learned that there is a difference between the sunflowers that grow in the fields and along the road ditches, and the ones that produce the seeds we love to eat. Of course we enjoyed a snack of shelled sunflower seeds – YUM!
