Happy Birthday Kansas – 150 years old!

 

Happy Birthday Kansas !  150 years old on January 29, 2011!

Lap-Sit Story Time children and their mothers learned some facts about Kansas.  We sang “Home on the Range” and “Happy Birthday” before enjoying mini brownie cakes topped with a sunflower, shelled sunflower seeds and juice.

Everyone took home a Kansas bookmark!  Thanks Blue Rapids Librarian for sharing your design for us to personalize.  It is really neat!
